Last SIN Sisamut Generation Khmer New Year Songs Recorded in Early 1975

SIN Sisamut

Being famous since Sangkum Reastr Niyum Regime, SIN Sisamut still continued his singing careers until the fall of Phnom Penh city on April 17, 1975 with all of his colleagues like ROS Sereysothea, HUY Meas, PEN Rorn, IN Yeng, SOS Math, and so on. The last memory of his best achievements was a self-written album of Khmer New Year Songs recorded on January 15, 1975. It was known  Pol Pot army was fighting over Phnom Penh during that time from all directions, but the heart of authors and singers in the city still continued their simple life to entertain citizens for Khmer New Year celebration on April 13, 14, 15 in that year. No one would expect that Phnom Penh became the ghost city after April 17, 1975; no one believed that. Therefore, SIN Sisamut and other singers still stayed in Phnom Penh even though whatever bad thing happened. At last, they were evacuated to countryside and killed in different places like Battambang, Kompong Speu, Takeo, Pursat, Kandal, etc. Here was the last SIN Sisamut generation Khmer New Year Songs as the following:
